A bit about me

 

Hi, my name is Abigail! (or Abi, Abs, or Gail, what ever is easiest for you ;))


I am a portrait and lifestyle photographer that specializes in capturing raw and honest moments and prioritizes connection and comfort between myself, my camera and my clients. I gravitate towards people and always want to make you feel like your best self.


I have moved around quite a bit and am yet to settle down so right now im a free bird ready to come to you for your photographic needs! I am located in Hamilton but service the GTA and KW regions. I LOVE photographing both on location or in the studio. Controlling the controllables and letting life take us the rest of the way.


My education and background in photography started in eighth grade when I decided my career at the age of 13. I have done 2 successful Co-Op studies, one in 10th grade for a year and another in 3rd year college for another year. In between all of that I have spent time assisting and furthering my education by earning my Honours bachelors degree of Photography from Sheridan College (which I graduated from in April 2025)


Photography to me is a whole other language. Something to learn, something to connect, something to love. It is a memory and feeling in a  physical form, something to look back on. Photography has allowed me to bond with people through an art form that I love doing. It has created an opportunity for me to meet people, to get different opinions, to experience life differently.

Wanna know my quirks?

  • I am an October Scorpio and proud! I follow most of the stereotypical traits such as being passionate, determined, loyal, and intuitive.
  • I photograph with Nikon and it's been my tried and true for the past 5 years  (and yes Ive tried Canon and Sony, but they aren't my vibe!)
  • My guilty pleasure is rewatching Law and Order; SVU over and over again
  • I am an avid collector coins and different currencies
  • I am quite allergic to dogs and cats (but that wont stop me from getting up close) and currently have an axolotl to keep my sneezing at ease.
  • I LOVE going to the aquarium and sharks and stingrays are my favourite animal
